Lisa Lambert Snodgrass, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Higher Education and Educational Leadership & Policy Studies at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She is the Associate Director of the Higher Education doctoral program, Coordinator of the Study Abroad programming, and is the Director of the Master’s in PK -22 Educational Leadership & Policy Studies Education.  Dr. Lambert Snodgrass has a BA in English Education, an MS in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies, and  Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction, all from Purdue University.

Lisa’s 20 + years in education have been diverse, including serving as a high school English teacher working in inclusion learning environments and a middle school principal before moving to higher education administration where she worked as Director of Career Development for 9 years. As a faculty member and scholar, Dr. Lambert Snodgrass’s research centers on the cultural dimensions of student, faculty, & staff experiences in PK-22 settings. Examining policy, systems and structures, she is predominantly interested in equity of access and cultural competence (ies) in the post-secondary institution, both domestically and internationally. She extends her focus in cultural competency to both engagement and service.

She holds qualified administrator certification in seven intercultural inventories, serves as an IDI debrief mentor, and has led multiple experiential study abroad programs across the globe including to Colombia, Netherlands, and Ireland. Dr. Snodgrass draws on these experiences to engage faculty, K-12 educators, and students in culturally responsive and intercultural professional development and mentoring.

Building on professional experiences, since joining the faculty, Dr. Snodgrass has 20+ publications and have presented at more than 40 conference presentations throughout the U.S.A. and internationally. She serves as the past president of the American Association of Career and Technical Educators – Indiana chapter, and is the current elected co-chair of programming for the AERA Faculty Teaching, Evaluation and Development Sig.
