Dr. Christine Kiracofe is Professor and Director of the PhD in Higher Education in the College of Education at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, U.S. She holds a BA in Health Sciences/Art History from Kalamazoo College (Kalamazoo, Michigan, U.S.), a MA in Art History from the University of Georgia (Athens, Georgia, U.S.), an M.P.A. from Purdue University Global (West Lafayette, Indiana, U.S.) and an Ed.D. from the University of Georgia (Athens, Georgia, U.S.).
Her research focuses primarily on legal and financial aspects of K-12 and higher education. She is the co-editor of the journal Education Law into Practice and serves as an Editorial Review Board Member of the following peer-reviewed journals: BYU Journal of Education and Law, West’s Education Law Reporter, The Journal of Education Finance, and the Journal of Education Law and Policy Review.
Dr. Kiracofe has authored more than 125 publications, including 3 books and has delivered more than 85 scholarly presentations at conferences throughout the United States and internationally. She is a former board member of the Education Law Association and is the current President-elect of the National Education Finance Academy.
