Georgios Degaitas was born in Athens. He holds a BSc in Primary Education from the University of Patras. He has been awarded a master’s degree in the Economics of Education and Management of Educational Units from the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus. He also holds an M.Ed. in Education Science: Special Education for People with Oral and Written Language Difficulties from the School of Humanities of the Hellenic Open University/Department of Special Education of the University of Thessaly.
He is also a PhD candidate at the Department of Early Childhood Care and Education of the School of Administrative, Economics and Social Sciences, University of Western Attica. He has been a special and a general primary education teacher since 2015. His research interests include school practices regarding the inclusion of students with disabilities and/or special learning needs.
